Description
Music Therapy is an established health profession in which music is used within a therapeutic relationship to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs, providing avenues for communication that can be helpful to those who find it difficult to express themselves in words. Music Therapists are credentialed professionals who have completed an approved music therapy program.
No prior experience with music is necessary for anyone seeking music therapy treatment. Some modalities may include active music-making, listening, composition, improvisation, and discussion. More information can be found at https://www.musictherapy.org/
